If you look at the numbers I posted yesterday, 3 of the top 7 in WAR in the NL were Phillies pitchers (that is among everyone, position players included). This has got to be very rare.

I recently discovered that the 1982 Phillies cut a pitcher, (Dewey Robinson) with a career 4.05 ERA, that he was overqualified to pitch for them. This same Phillies team had Steve Carlton.
